How to Sign Out of Netflix on All Devices

Someone else is watching on your account, or you signed in on a hotel TV and forgot to sign out. Netflix can end every session at once from the account page, which only exists at netflix.com in a browser.

Open your account page

Go to netflix.com/account in a browser and sign in. Any browser works, including the one on your phone. The Netflix app on a TV, phone, or tablet does not have this option.

Open the Security section

Click Security in the menu on the account page. On older layouts, the same options sit under Settings. Look for the Access and devices area.

Sign out of all devices

Click Sign out of all devices, then confirm. Every phone, tablet, TV, game console, and browser signed in to the account is logged out. Some devices, especially TVs, can take up to 8 hours to notice.

To remove only one device instead, click Manage access and devices. Each entry shows the device type, the profile used most recently, and an approximate location. Click Sign out next to any single device.

Change your password

While still on the account page, click Password under Security and set a new one. Without this step, anyone who knows the old password can sign straight back in once the sign-out completes.

Check that the sign-out took effect

Open the Netflix app on one of your own devices. It should show the sign-in screen. Sign back in with the new password on each device you use.

The browser you are using stays signed in. Signing out of all devices does not end the session you used to make the change. To end that one too, click your profile icon and choose Sign out of Netflix.

Manage access and devices doubles as a history. Even after signing everyone out, the list shows where and when the account was used, which helps if you are trying to work out how someone got access.
