How to Log Out of Spotify on All Devices

Sign out of every phone, computer, TV, and web player at once from your Spotify account page on spotify.com, then change your password to lock the account.

Someone else may be using your account, or a device you sold still has Spotify signed in. The button that signs every device out at once lives only on spotify.com, not inside the app.

Open your account page on spotify.com

In a browser, go to spotify.com and log in. Click your profile picture at the top right and choose Account. On a phone, use the browser rather than the Spotify app, which has no sign-out-everywhere option.

Find Sign out everywhere

In the account menu, open Security and privacy. On older layouts the option sits on the Account overview page instead. Scroll to the Sign out everywhere section.

Click Sign out everywhere

Click Sign out everywhere and confirm. Every phone, tablet, computer, TV, game console, and speaker signed in to your account is logged out within a few minutes. Anyone using the account is asked to log in again the next time they open Spotify.

Change your password

From the same Security and privacy page, choose Change password. Enter your current password, then a new one you have not used on any other site. If you signed up with Google, Apple, or Facebook, change the password with that provider instead. Without this step, anyone who knows the old password can log straight back in.

Log back in on your own devices

Open Spotify on each device you use and enter the new password. Check your downloads afterward, since some devices need to fetch them again after a forced sign-out.

The web player you are using stays signed in. Sign out everywhere does not log out the browser tab you clicked it from. Use the profile menu and Log out to close that session as well.

Spotify Connect devices come back. Speakers, TVs, and consoles are logged out too, but they reappear in the device picker as soon as you log in again on your phone on the same Wi-Fi. If a device you no longer own keeps showing up, remove it from the Apps or Devices section of the account page.
